AVID National Demonstration School

In order to be competitive in the college application market, students must participate in a rigorous high school curriculum. The AVID program offers the intensive academic support that students need to make their college dreams come true.

AVID Student Qualifications 
Have a desire to attend a 4 year university 
Complete required college-prep courses (A-G Requirements) and the AVID class each year 
Must earn a C or higher in all A-G courses  
Be willing to take honors and AP classes 
Take college entrance exams such as the SAT or ACT CORE COMPONENTS
