ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee)

What is ELAC?

 ELAC Stands for English Learner Advisory Committee.

The English Learner Advisory Council is responsible for:

• Assisting in the development of the schoolwide needs assessment, as it pertains to English Learners.
• Finding ways to make families aware of the importance of regular school attendance and consistent academic progress.
• Advocating for the specific needs and wants of our students designated as English Learners.

Anyone may be a part of our OHS ELAC, it is open to all members of our Panther Community.

 

El Consejo Asesor de Aprendices de Inglés es responsable de:

• Ayudar en el desarrollo de la evaluación de las necesidades de toda la escuela, en lo que respecta a los estudiantes de inglés.
• Encontrar formas de concienciar a las familias sobre la importancia de la asistencia regular a la escuela y el progreso académico constante.
• Abogar por las necesidades y deseos específicos de nuestros estudiantes designados como aprendices de inglés.

Cualquiera puede ser parte de nuestro OHS ELAC, está abierto a todos los miembros de nuestra comunidad Panther.

 

Hội đồng tư vấn cho người học tiếng Anh chịu trách nhiệm:

• Hỗ trợ phát triển đánh giá nhu cầu toàn trường, vì nó liên quan đến Người học tiếng Anh.
• Tìm cách làm cho các gia đình nhận thức được tầm quan trọng của việc đi học đều đặn và tiến bộ học tập nhất quán.
• Vận động cho các nhu cầu và mong muốn cụ thể của học sinh được chỉ định là Người học tiếng Anh.

Bất kỳ ai cũng có thể là một phần của OHS ELAC của chúng tôi, nó dành cho tất cả các thành viên trong Cộng đồng Panther của chúng tôi.
