It is National FFA Week! Come join us at Panther Plaza for a Petting Zoo this Friday at lunch! Here is your Agriculture fact of the day: The top 10 California products are Dairy/Milk, Grapes, Almonds, Cattle and Calves, Pistachios, Strawberries, Lettuce, Floriculture, Tomatoes, and Oranges.

Want to see just what the heck winter guard and winter drumline is? Now's your chance to check it out for FREE! The winter guard and winter drumline will be holding a Family and Friends Preview this Saturday, April 22nd at 10:30 in The Dome. Admission is free, but donations are graciously accepted. Come check out what these groups have been doing before they head to their first competitions!


The National Honor Society will be having a general meeting today in room T-12 at lunch. Hope to see you there!

Hey Panthers Christ in Action Club will be gathering in room 806b Friday for a short discussion time. Come on out, feel free to attend, and have a chat.

 College and Career

Do you need a place to study, work on group projects, do homework on a Chromebook, or print your assignments? The LIBRARY will be open EVERYDAY at 7 AM and closing at 7 PM TUESDAY through THURSDAY.  A math or English teacher will be available for tutoring.

Attention seniors who have not completed their financial aid application. On Monday, February 24th, Santiago Canyon College is hosting a free cash for college workshop to help ALL SENIORS complete their FAFSA or California Dream Act application! SCC will assist all students, even those not attending SCC. There will be free food and parking. The workshop will be from 5 – 7PM on the 3rd floor of the E Building.

 Working Students if you are in need of a Work Permit, please stop by the College and Career Center - 601 to pick up the work permit application.

Orange High seniors planning to attend SCC, this is for you.  Counseling 106 is a dual enrollment class available to you.  This class will provide you with the academic advice you need to learn more about creating an academic plan and will help you learn about majors including helping you declare yours.   This class meets 6 Wednesdays and it counts for 1 unit. The class starts March 11th.  You will receive a $100 gift card once you complete and pass the class.  

Juniors are you interested in attending a Cal State? Seniors, have you applied and want to know more about the campus? Then sign up for the Cal State Fullerton campus tour on March 16th! We will be taking the first 50 students so stop by room 601 before it’s too late.


Girls attending Women In Sports: If you are attending the Women In Sports Conference on Tuesday, 2/25, please make sure to bring your permission slip to the bus that morning, or turn into Coach Seevers before the trip. If you need a permission slip, please see Coach Seevers in the Athletic Office.

The tennis team fell to Los Amigos in their first match this past Tuesday;  Shane Iranpour led the Panthers winning all three matches.
