School Community:

Attention all 10th grade students-vision/hearing screening will be held during your HISTORY class on this Friday, January 18th.  If you WEAR glasses please bring them with you on that day. Please be sure to attend school on Friday, January 18th. There will be NO make-ups.

Students, this is a reminder from the counseling office: You are enrolled in year long classes and you will NOT allowed to make elective schedule changes for 2nd semester.  Elective schedule changes will be denied and “Do you want to see your Counselor forms?” will not be issued for elective schedule change requests.


OHS Student and Faculty you are invited to attend the Grand Opening of our Student Center on Tuesday, January 22nd during lunch. Taco Cart will be on campus so don’t forget to bring your money.


Panthers come out tomorrow to the Outdoor Theatre to hear what your classmates have to say about voting for them for ASB and the position that they are campaigning for.


No School on Monday, January 21st - Martin Luther King Day.


Voting Day! During 2nd period on Tuesday, January 22  you will have the opportunity to vote for your ASB representatives for the school year 2019- 2020. The link will be provided by your teachers and on social media.

College and Career:

Do you need help completing your FAFSA/Dream Act application, SCC application, or CAP form? Stop by College and Career Center to sign up for help from SCC outreach. Remy - Student Services Specialist will be on campus every Wednesday from 10-1 for the rest of the school year. You must get teacher permission to be excused from class.


Attention Seniors! We have plenty of great scholarship opportunities right now!! Stop by the Career & College Center to find out all the scholarships that you can apply too!! Deadlines are coming up so make sure to stop by!


Working Students if you are in need of a Work Permit, please stop by the

College and Career Center to pick up the work permit application.



The Girls Basketball game has been moved to Santa Ana High School today, so that we can stay on track with the end of league. JV at 5:30pm and Varsity at 7pm.


Attention all male students.  Our OHS varsity boys golf team is looking for interested players to be a part of this year’s team. Tryouts will be on Tuesday of next week.  Please stop by and see Coach Ruiz during lunch at the front door if you are interested.  #JustTapItIn
