School Community
Good morning Panthers, today we are on a PRIDE Time schedule!
Panthers, it’s time for our annual Canned Food Drive! Join us in helping our local community in need. Donation items include any non-perishable foods and new packages of personal hygiene items. Drop off the items to your 1st period teacher. The class with the most items donated will win a Chick Fil-A lunch and the top individual donor will win a $100 gift certificate. The Canned Food Drive ends on November 21st.
Do you have detention hours to clear? Serve today at lunch to clear THREE hours of detention--RAINY DAY SPECIAL. If it RAINS OUTSIDE it RAINS extra hours of detention cleared in 403! Show some PRIDE panthers and clear your hours. Have questions? Need a plan? See Miss Visconti Room 403
Thankful for Saturday School SUPER Server Saturday School-- Last Saturday school of the month--be thankful for the chance to clear TEN hours of detention tomorrow! Rain or shine, serve Saturday School this Saturday to clear TEN hours of detention. BE ON TIME. Saturday School is from 8-12 in room 403, enter campus from the Walnut gate
Seniors
Seniors, Cap and Gown packages were mailed out. If you do not receive a package in the mail order your cap and gown on Jostens website - the deadline is on December 21st.
Seniors, to celebrate completing your college, career, and financial aid applications, you’ll be released 10 minutes early on Wednesday, November 19, for the Senior BBQ Celebration! ๐
๐ Enjoy a hamburger or cheeseburger grilled by Mr. Woods and Mr. Sanchez, with chips and water provided by ASB.
๐ณ Bring your student ID to get your BBQ lunch — cafeteria meals won’t be available for seniors that day.

College and Career
Santiago Canyon College is excited to offer FREE Cash for College workshop for students and their parents/guardians! Don't miss this opportunity to get support on complete your FAFSA/CADAA applications. Cash for College workshop is this Saturday, November 15 from 8-12pm in the Library and Cafeteria. Visit the College and Career Center (Room 602) to register.
Students, the ASVAB test will take place on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the library. The ASVAB is a great opportunity for students to explore careers, discover their strengths, and learn about opportunities in the military, college, trade schools, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training. The test is open to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors ONLY. Interested students should sign up in the College and Career Center, Room 601, with Ms. Ramirez.
Students in need of a work permit visit the College and Career Center, room 601 or you can visit the OHS website.
Athletics
Hey Panther Nation! Basketball season is back! Come out to "The Dome" on Monday, 11/17 for Opening Night as the boys basketball team embarks on their new season. Varsity tips off at 6pm vs. Samueli Academy. This game is a white out, so make sure you are wearing white to the game!
